Family Photo Tips
Book your photo session around your child's nap time. This will assure that your little one arrives well rested and in a good mood.
We can get a bit cranky when we're hungry, so make sure to eat prior to arriving and pack snacks.
Pack extra clothes for the kids.
Bring some help. Having a friend or family member tag along to help with the kids goes a long way. I also recommend this because I like to sneak in a few photos of just parents at the end of each family session.
Maternity Photo Tips
Plan to have your photo session between weeks 33 through 37. I've seen too many mamas wait until the last minute to get their photos taken only for them to go into labor a couple of days after the session. It can take me up to two weeks to have your photos completed, so please keep that in mind.
Bring comfy shoes. Most of my sessions occur outdoors and sometimes the ground can be uneven. I recommend bringing sandals or sneakers for any walking during the photo shoot.
Plan for a second outfit. This is optional, but always recommended.
